Hey Scotty, is there a such thing as a universal door handle , like for all
makes and models? Or does it have to be specific? I cant find one for a
2001 prelude

Scotty I have 97 Park Ave. It started to loose coolant and I check for
leaks, but could not find any. I think it was leaking into the block. My
oil stick was way past full. Then it it stop starting and I got started
again and it ran for few minutes and died. I tested the fuel pump and it
was fine. I then changed the plugs and wires. It ran for about 45 minutes
as i drover it around . I shut if off and it will not started. I was going
to put stop leak in to stop the leak into the crank. But now it will not
start again. still getting code p0300. any ideas fuel filter?

wotan20 says:

I know that in the middle of summer it’s not timely, still try to imagine
how easily these plastic parts break when the outside temperature is 20 ºC
bellow freezing, which is frequent in the northern US or in Canada. I
remember, that during the eighties, when the manufacturers migrated in mass
to these plastic trim components from the earlier metal ones, I regularly
broke those, such as door handle and window crank, specially in winters,
’till my hands ‘remembered’ to use them very gingerly.

friedchicken1981 says:

i’m like, wow replacing cardoor handle.. but then i’m like, ok i’ll watch

Scotty Kilmer says:

you can mix if it’s the same viscosity. and those saturn engines are crap,
so stick to the suggested viscosity, I’ve seen heavier oil ruin those
engines.

you may need a new latch assembly, but take the door panel apart and see if
you can manually turn child lock off from the inside

jaidrofire says:

Get in by the passenger side?

ReggyRay289 says:

Hey Scotty, your videos are awesome and informative, I was wondering if you
could do one on sunroof repair/replacement/maintenance because mine stopped
working, there was still power and the switch was good but it opened and
wouldn’t close, no motor noise or electrical sounds.

Scotty Kilmer says:

if both outer and inner handles are broken, you’ll have to cut some of the
panel to get to the lock to force it open

Scotty Kilmer says:

hire a midget to climb in the window to open it from inside21
