Hyundai uses rivets to secure the door speakers…so we had to drill them out! Replaced with pioneer 6 1/2s and bass blockers.

yo what kind a adapters did you use to install aftermarket speakers?
@poplove7 we used speaker mounting brackets from crutchfield…basically a
plastic circle that the speaker fits into then has 3 tabs that you screw
into the door…search speaker mounting brackets !
volkswagon uses rivets to hold their in as well i just encountered the that
same problem and i am stuck drilling them out as well.
