hahah, the club music to this (at least for the rear removal) was awesome.
wish it didnt have those holes though, i just wanted to take the H’s off
Would This Method work for a honda emblem to? Wikid video by the way
I used bug and tar remover, that is recommended for cars. Just spray the
badges and let them soak, then I used mouth floss and the badge came off
with almost all of the gunk. Then, spray the gunk with the bug and tar
remover, and used a rubber scrapper, and it got rid of all of the goo, with
nothing left over.
I would suggest using “Goo-Gone” to remove the original adhesive residue –
less chance of scratching the paint. A little heat from a hair dryer will
soften the adhesive and make badge removal easier. Clever use of ty-wraps!
Nope, doesnt have anything to do with the trim level. every tiburons in
korea, (tuscani) has the same emblem even the 4bangers
Sweet DIY, I just got mine and am definitely going to do this.
Can you send me a personal mensage with a web page where i could buy this
emblemas trough the internet. THANKS.
Aint nothing sexier that a Girl working on cars!! A++
they are the same car >_>
…guess there are always those people who talk before knowing what they’re
talking about.
Great job the video love ur DIY! they really do help and very enjoyable to
watch
nice but what happens when a cop behind u pulls up ur plates and its
registered to a tiburon and not a tuscani??? hmm….. interesting
I wouldnt reccomend cable ties my ANY means – theyre just too brittle and
scratch paintwork. Double up some dental floss, and cut through using that
– much safer.
i’m not trying to be mean, but you are wrong. Tuscani is what we call
tiburons here in Korea. it doesnt have anything to do with trim package.
even the I4 trims have the tuscani badges on em. 🙂 and people put tuscani
badges on them here in the states just because it looks cooler.
I don’t understand. It’s the same damn car, why do you need to change the
name?. I can understand that Flying H logo can look cheap, but it’s still a
Hyundai no matter what.
***to get the gunk off*** go buy a cheap pack of childs pencils with
colorful holiday erasers. they are smooth rubber, and act the same as the
professional body shop drill attachment. they will remove any sort of glue
or sticker or “gunk” without harming or even fogging the clearcoat 😉
thats stupid beacuse on the vin number it has the hyundai emblum and its
black my real tuscani dosent have that and its bronze
i dont think that would matter, alotta people take off their model numbers
on any type of car, and add different names too. I doubt a cop would even
know the difference of a Tuncani compared with a regular Tiburon
i used just a random string i had lying around and took about 5min. i don’t
recomend the card to clean junk off. i did it and left small scratches in
paint. /cry.
wouldnt it be easier to use a heatgun and pry the mf out? + googone <-- <3
tiburon is a tuscani
very cool, i want one
thats kind of sexy that a girl is doing this..lol
What you can also use to get the gunk off is “Goo Gone” that stuff works
great
Well, not in the US right?, to the best of my knowlege, it’s only for
Korean and European market is it not? I see no reason to change the name
for it, for it IS Tiburon no matter what.
haha yeah.
lol nothing, if they do pull you over the vin matches the registration and
insurance
not very bright, windex ruins clear coat after even one hit on the paint.
and zip ties, i mean really thats just asking for a big scratch, let alone
the credit card. i wont let someone draw on my car in dirt and you put
plastic to it. listen to these other guys or go to a body shop like a
normal person
Goo Gone will not remove clear coat.. tards
what the hell is a tuscani?
