Can you provide elaboration on TDC compression stroke vs TDC exhaust stroke? As someone who isn't familiar with cars, I just changed the chain myself and found out after putting it together that there's two TDC's for the crankshaft.
Hi When I crank the timing chain seems to want to jump a tooth. I tried cranking without plugs to try and get some oil pressure into the tensioner to counter this but it didnt build up pressure. I am scared to try start in case it jumps a tooth. My tensioner is brand new chainhas done 150 000 km. Should I just try and start?
Please I have a problem with the timing,I was doing Hyundai Elantra 1.8 engine I did what you taught in the video but after the Mark flash on the cylinder head surface, i try to turn the engine again after the TDC Mark the valves lock with the piston please why that happened
