Who the hell designed this engine bay can’t reach nothing easily
You must have small hands or the N line is designed different. I could hardly get my hand down there to remove the circular cap, which I did but couldn't get further to get the bulb.
I just finsihed to do this after 2 hours. I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra. Ladies you can do it. It’s not easy for me, but I did it! Thank goodness for this tutorial. Go to your local auto parts store and they can help you find the right bulbs and after a flashlight, and flat head screwdriver, and tenacity it happened.

I did exactly what you did and was successful on changing both the headlight and daylight bulbs, instead of taking a lot of crap off to get access or jacking up my car and taking the tire off to get access. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge, it was very useful!

Mine is stuck, basically broke the whole cover, the tab for a screwdriver is also messed up now
It's actually ridiculous how difficult they've made it to change these in the newer models. It's practically impossible. They don't want you doing it yourself. Instead, they want you to take it back to the dealership so they can siphon more money out of you.
UPDATE; I replaced all 4 light bulbs still with NO success. I was told it could possibly be a shortage in my wiring somewhere!!! D: i've done everything in this video.
this was actually a great explanation. the lady at the autopart store told me the same thing. when she replaced my bulb; she explained how the light connector isn't connecting because even w the new headlight nothing came on still. currently going to a dealership now…. smh
