Just followed your video and changed the cabin air filter on my 2018 Elantra. It went well. It was great actually. Thank you for posting. The filter was a mess. I think I'll check again in 6 months..

I purchased a Denso filter and the length and width match up but there is a gap as the aftermarket filter is not as tall heightwise is that ok to have a shorter filter in there?

Steven Davison says:

I changed mine and now I have a low rumbling noise when the AC is on. Any ideas?

Mine had an electrical cord right over the left corner of the filter, where the tabs were. Had no slack. Was a bit of a pain but finally got it done. My car is 3 years old, with heavy ac use in summer. I was shocked at how very dirty it was! Has a nice new one in there now, and I'll change it every year from now on . Thx very much for the video!!
