In today’s video we install Tein coilovers on my buddys Genesis. We had less than 24hrs to install these coilovers on the car because we had to enter Austin’s car into the Import Face-Off showcase. Make sure you go and watch the Import Face-Off video if you haven’t already. These Tein coilovers took the stock height of the car and dropped it down way low. The car l00ks great now! I know this video is pretty long but it is a thorough install video! Use a pass through socket instead of holding the shock body other then that great video
what should that top nut holding the spring in place be torqued to?
imho, and yea this video is old.. don't rush this regardless of anything. Dude tried to pull the top hat off with the spring compressed. Take more time to figure out the best paths first and don't get too excited.
How are you liking the Ride? And can they be adjusted lower?

Is this easy to install? I have no idea on how to do this. But, I want to start do things on my car on my own.
Can I follow these same instructions if I’m trying to remove my coils and putting stock suspension again ?

Endlinks…not sway bars. Your friend is mechanically capable but does not know the name of the parts he’s describing

Are you maxed out?
Notice there are jack stands under this car. You do not see them as you progress in the video. I am certain they are there but the angle for demonstration does not show them. Kids, NEVER work off of a jack alone. Good video with lots of details.
