I like the vid, but maybe jacking up on a jack point further under the car
with rubber pad of a block of wood between the jack and car rather than
jacking it up on the sils and stressing a part known to rust.
He left out the best part of the whole job- the teenybopper sexting on her
paidforbyparents stupidphone- T-bones him in the intersection in front of
the car parts shop- that he was returning the rented puller to.

Love how you remove the track rod end AFTER struggling to remove the Drive
shaft lol
just saw this video. I like it, doesn’t waste his breath talking. just
get’s the job done. give him a lot of credit. but I’ll just buy a new hub
and bearing. I got tired just watching him work!
Good vid. Doesn’t have some guy who keeps talking all the time. A very
realistic representation of the challenges you will run into doing this
job. Everything is usually seized into place and requires brute strength
to remove.
If you don’t feel confident and have the know how to press the bearing off
and press the new bearing on, take the knuckle to a shop for around $50 for
two sides. Voila!!

I am a maintenance mechanic by trade. He lost me when put the puller down
and used a grinder to get the inner race of the bearing off. As soon as he
powered up the grinder I was laughing out loud for about 15-20 seconds.
grinder is last resort normally when race starts to fuse to shaft from
heat. That inner race was coming off. He did it though. Hats off to a
determined man. LOL

no man you are playing with that 4 pound hammer.first lesson in a trade
when you use a hammer you hold it at the back as far as possible to lighten
the load,i have done that job numerous of times an hell i don’t struggle
like that.
