For somebody wonder how to get that new replacement piece, I have an alternative solution for you guys: glue all the remains of the broken piece together with a hard cardboard piece for the bottom. Make sure it dries out and solid before put it back to that slot. good luck!

Had this issue. Just put a small screw with a round head. It's what I had on hand. Fixed complete.

Perfect explanation. Had the destroyed plastic in the floorboard of my 2012 Hyundai Elantra.

@Evilista says:

Thank you so much, I was able to stuff a folded up piece of paper in there to turn the brake light off and not kill my battery until I can get a replacement.
