This will work for 2007 through 2010 Hyundai Elantra with a 2.0 liter engine. symptoms of a bad alternator include the battery light comes on, the car turns off and acts like a bad battery when you try and crank it. the battery will become discharged and weak.

read some pretty bad reviews on amazon about the part. I believe you get what you pay for. The advanced auto parts guy showed Me one for $230. If I'm not really on a tight budget would you recommend just going ahead and getting that one vs this cheaper $100 one?

The most fucked up design, I hate how they designed this car and part positioning

I did the same job and tried to remove from the top but didn't want to put pressure on the a/c lines so I followed your other video and removed the oil filter which barely dripped any oil and dropped it from the bottom. I don't know why those bracket bolts have to be so long if they weren't it would be an easy pull from up top. But I still recommend removing the bracket bolts because it makes it easier to wiggle out whether from the top or bottom. And that harness holding the wire just snip you can use a ziptie to put it back on.
