Very helpful although you really should have put silicon grease on the
caliper bolts and you should have cleaned the hardware with a wire brush

Hans Sotres says:

thank you very much, you have no idea how much you help us out.

Roman Johnston says:

So you don’t take your rotor off and have the face turned? Really? Good
luck with the vibrations when you apply the brakes. That extra step only
take 10.00 to 15.00 per rotor…and is the correct way to do the job.

tomswonderfulworld says:

I wish all of them were that easy

Milogarage says:

made me think of watching a pit stop during a Le Mans race when they change
glowing orange pads in 40 seconds .. good clean fun one Tom

Cheator40 says:

Nice Tom. No more squeeky brakes.

tax dollars and giving it to them!

Sean Scanlon says:

No brake lube for the new pads??? And for a few bucks more you can get pads
that stop better than the cheapees.

wtbm123 says:

Wish every job took so few tools.

Ron4936 says:

don’t ya just love it when a job goes well 🙂

Steve Tischler says:

“We got the cheapest ones we could get’? Umm, you really can’t put a price
on the ability to stop your car and save a life, especially your families.
Just had to comment on that. Otherwise not terrible. Would have been easier
to take the caliper off and compress the piston first.

tomswonderfulworld says:

haha Jerry, no more gripping wife!!!!

egami ames says:

nice video 🙂

RobsPackanShine says:

Good thing that wasn’t the wood truck or you would be working on it for a
week instead of 17 min’s. Good job, cheers OLDDUDE

tomswonderfulworld says:

Absolutely

TheRickfix says:

tomswonderfulworld says:

For sure!

tomswonderfulworld says:

i like it, its runs great and gives no trouble. however id rather have a
honda! I hear the new sonata’s are cutting edge in design and technology
and are some of the best cars on the road.

tomswonderfulworld says:

Haha, You can cut your yard with a cheap 120 dollar lawn mower from walmart
or you can go to John Deere and buy a 7,000 dollar lawn tractor, the
results are the same! its just a personal preference! Thanks for watching!

SwPiotrek says:

It looks very easy, when you do that.

M1CHAZZ says:

How do you like your Sonata? Looking to get one & I keep cars for a long
time!

Timetotinker says:

better than Midas……….tony

Yaheuben66 says:

Squaeky brakes just need oil… I oil mine– the squeak stops but the car
doesn’t…

Lorne F says:

Hyundai is easy to work on. No brake lube? GM you’d be on your second or
third brake job .

tomswonderfulworld says:

LOL!

Steve Tischler says:

I agree to a degree. Case in point I have really cheap pads on my 2006
Avera that came with the car when u bought it about 8 months ago. I’ve had
to hit the brakes pretty hard once or twice and let me tell you, it took a
lot of pressure and even then I was a little worried. Pads have plenty of
meat. Just chappy stopping under harsh conditions. I would say that Those
conditions are the ones you really want to count on them. This weekend I
will be putting on better pads and new rotors.

tomswonderfulworld says:

Thanks Milo ………… Aaah racing, The Rolex is this weekend i believe.
They will be doing just that!

tomswonderfulworld says:

That aint no lie!

jevchance says:

Dang nice work Tom, wish my brake jobs were that easy 🙂
