What if you discover a leak? What did you do wrong? I try this yesterday and my car is overheating and I can see that there is a leak from the gasket area.

Did you put all that crab inside the air filter housing? cause that is impossible getting inside there. it's too difficult to see what you did.

If you remove the negative battery connection first you have less chance of shorting the connections (making sparks). No need to worry if your metal tool contacts anything metal if you are removing the negative clamp, well unless you touch it to the positive side of the battery.

Thanks for the video. Cars have gotten newer and more complicated while I've gotten older and more simple minded so I can't do much on our cars anymore. After getting an estimate of $300 to diagnose the problem with my car, even though I told them I just want the thermostat, which is the problem, changed, I decided to research it and after watching your video decided I can do it myself.
