Good job. But I have to wonder why they have carb boots at all. Most
engines (2 and 4 cycle) have the carbs rigidly mounted, with a thin gasket
that lasts forever.
What song is that at 9:32
you need a set of ratcheting ring spanners, they are the best thing ever
and you can get jobs done in half the time
Ever think about making a sled stand? Have seen plans for them on the net
and would think with your skills you could make them blindfolded.
Have you ever had to synchronize carbs? I figured it was just making sure
the throttles open at the same time but I remember seeing some sort of
meter/gauge thing for it. More to it than that?
Yet another informative and entertaining vid with great background music i
might add, thanks Wayne!!!
Looks good- just a lil sidenote- 13mm = .512 inches, and 12mm = .472
inches…. Think you just misspoke about 13 being smaller than half
inch…. 😀

You use vacuum gauges to sync carbs, it’s actually pretty easy to do.
Ok so it IS more than just the throttles. I wonder if that’s why my old
Honda was never *quite* right. It ran great when warmed up right but when
first started the left cylinder would light up just a touch before the
right. Thanks!
