A Hummer is not for everyone. They’re special, and should be treated as
such. A Hummer is for… special occasions.

Jeep has went bankrupt several times. There are more used Jeeps sitting on
used car lots than any other 4×4. More Jeeps are trailered to & from the
trail than any other 4×4. If Jeeps are so great. Why is what I stated so
true? No wonder you Jeep guys smack talk so much. Because you can’t handle
the fact that Jeep is no longer the best offroad vehicle. Hell if want a
capable offroad jeep. You have to modify the crap out of them to the point
that the only part that is still Jeep is the body & frame. My advice to you
Jeep guys is. Shut the hell up. Nobody cares what you guys think except for
other Jeep guys.

Hummer H1 with a Cummins engine swap would be the ultimate 4×4 for me
good vehicle, just needs more power to weight for speed in rough terrain

There is no other vehicle that makes the hair stand up on your neck… two
reasons, they usualy relate to massive Kickass american soldier
destruction, Creating fear. But also amazing offroad vehicle with unique
looks. Everyone should own one. Top Zombie Apocalypse vehicle from the
dealer.
It’s nice in swamps and dessert area’s, but it’s to wide to patrol in
centre of old cities or in dense forest (try to follow a suzuki samurai
:-)), it is to slow to catch anybody once you’re on tarmac (and lets be
honest, most badies try to get away using a road). It is also incredibly
heavy making it much harder to use a float. In my opinion it is a mighty
machine, but not as versatile as the original jeep.

Well I don’t think its fair to compare a commercial Jeep to a military
humvee. A better comparison is the Jeep vs the hummer and the Jeep wins
every time. I do believe if Jeep made a military vehicle for the Army it
would compete with the humvee.
