I bought a pedal on ebay and installed it but it set off the anti-theft
system. Tried a bunch of things to reset but didn’t work so I put the old
one back in. Now the seller says I have to take it to a ford dealer to
have it programmed. Is this true?

Dennis Acton says:

I believe this is the problem on my 2003 excursion. The acceleration
surges and lags randomly, most often at a slower constant speed. Thanks to
this video I see it is a repair I can handle. The part is between $600-800
though. Ouch!

I have a 2000 ford f250 5.4L and how do I replace and where can I get the
gas throttle accelerator cable i need both cables that connect to the
throttle body?

Entertained777 says:

how did you adjust the petal? looks like you pressed a button or something?
i have a problem with my 2000 honda civic my petal is too high and my foot
is too short for it. how can i adjust it please reply back i really need
help.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

It may be possible to convert, but something like that isn’t in the books,
so you’d either have to find someone who has tried it in the past, or just
give it a try yourself and see what happens. As for the brake pedal not
moving, the two pedals each have their own cable running from the adjusting
motor to the pedal assembly, so it could be an issue with the cable itself.

nickt916 says:

is it easy or possible to convert to non adjustable pedal assembly? also
for some reason when i use the pedal adjusting button, only my gas pedal
moves up and down, brake pedal does not move, would you happen to know why?

Entertained777 says:

P.S I am a girl who knows nothing about cars language so if you could
explain it clearly w/ pic/video it would be very helpful thanks.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@Entertained777 Hi Entertained777, Unfortunately on your car there is no
easy way to adjust the pedal. On this truck we were working on, the
adjustable pedals is an option from the factory. (It has buttons on the
dashboard to adjust the pedal position). On a Honda though, there is no way
to adjust it, Sorry.

Entertained777 says:

@APDTY So Is there any other way I can adjust my break lower? If I bring my
car to the mechanic how much do you think it will it cost?

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

@Entertained777 Unfortunately there is no other way, except for drastic
changes (Like cutting the brake pedal and re-welding it so it sits lower).
Sorry
