Really nice video, thanks for sharing. One thought I had was that they make
plastic tools for removing panels from automobile interiors – they are
great for prying different things without marring a surface (in reaction to
you prying the safety off with a screwdriver). I mean this as a suggestion,
not at all a criticism 🙂 http://www.amazon.com/Panel-Removal-Tool-Satisfaction-Guaranteed/dp/B00LUPOSD4
The one thing that kills the deal for me on the SP-01 is the fact that they
have the extended/exposed forward portion of the rail of the slide past the
muzzle end of the frame. The issue is slightly prominent on the P-07 and
not an issue on the CZ 75 B/D. My thinking would be (hypothetically) if you
accidentally dropped your pistol and it hits a rock or pavement with that
exposed portion of the slide. If that area does sustain damage you either
have a possibly ruined frame from galling that might occur from a
protruding “spur” rubbing the internal frame rail with subsequent shots or
if you are needing it in a life or death situation and you drop it in a
physical altercation that might ensue; you go to pick it up and you get the
first chambered shot off and the slide jams and wedges itself into the
frame due to possible damage (expansion/mushrooming, protruding spur,
“pavement pitting”, etc.. of the metal) that occurred. I know it my never
happen, but what is point in not making a flush fit slide rail? Even though
it provides more rail surface area to make contact with the frame. Any
thoughts from the community would be great. Thanks
How much difference would removing the firing pin block make and how much
more trigger work would be required to make it nice and smooth after the
FPB was removed?
I am trying to decide between either the SP-01 Shadow taget, basic SP-01
Shadow or the basic SP-01 and send the SP-01 or basic shadow to Cajun Gun
works. What is your recommendation?
Johnny – if you only 1/2 cock the CZ, when you pull back the slide it will
default/detent back to the aligning marks. It can’t go any further because
you are at 1/2 cock. It’s a ton easier to get the alignment perfect to
extract the pin. Loved this vid – great job.! Subscribed.!!
great video! 13:14 made me laugh! Thanks for taking the time to do this, Im
breaking down my shadow this weekend to do a full polish and spring
upgrade.
Remind me to NEVER stop by your house one day after a few beers. You seem
like the type that would let me survive, but you would shoot me in the
Butt.
Do you collect Hotwheels? I collected for over 10 years then ended up
selling/donating everything but my collection of Superbirds & Charger
Daytonas.

Just got a 75 p06 compact. Pretty much the same? I don’t want to wait for
the turn around.
Hello, I am planning on order the Race Hammer Kit as well as the Ultra Lite
Springs for my CZ 75B. Do I follow this video exactly for installation?
