It’s a very good car. Some of them are ok on gas. I usually don’t pay much
attention to gas. The hummer is a quality vehicle that is very strong. It’s
much safer than any other car and it is excellent for bad roads. It’s a
very nice and safe car. Safety and reliability are the most important thing
to look for. Feel free to ask any other questions and I will do my best to
answer them. Thanks

chorstma44 says:

@chestahill Its not too noisy on the highway. The engine is quiet but you
can hear the tires

cerrystyle says:

It’s veeeeery nice! i’m from Italy and i love Hummer’s can u tell if is
real which it consumes a lot of gas? i’d like to get this for my 18 this
year, but my dad doesn’t agreed my chose! xD Greetingz and Hammer’s 4 ever!
xD

Max Ronai says:

Congrats! Im getting it as my first car also! Enjoy it.

Jaiyo17 says:

@Jaiyo17 Oh PS….As compared to say a v8 4runner or the 4.0 Xterra

chorstma44 says:

@hayleecybertron Yes it feels gigantic. When I went to go pick it up, the
first 5 minutes I concentrated on centering myself. It feels much bigger
than it is. I cant imagine driving a h2 or an h1. The H3 is such a good
suv. When you drive it you feel like you are king of the road. Its a beast!

david floyd says:

nice is it a alpha model or base model?

Andrew22125 says:

i think black and white are the nicest looking colors for the H3

chorstma44 says:

@Jaiyo17 Actually no. My jeep grand cherokee is a 96 and it went against a
2006 hummer h3. The h3 got stuck and busted up a bunch of stuff underneath.
Needed a new control arm and all new ball joints. They arent meant to take
any beating. The enitre time ive had my jeep I have never broken or had to
replace anything and it has no trouble at all. it amazes me what its
capable of and how easy it handles it

chorstma44 says:

@Jaiyo17 the 4 runner is a toyota. it will fall apart and blow up. And the
xterra looks gay

SeanFTP1 says:

I’ve had my red 2006 H3 since July of 2005 and it now has 81,000 miles on
it and has only been in the shop once to fix a loose wire on the monsoon
stereo. I’ve been though 2 ft of snow with it and on the trail outside of
Aspen and I’m looking for a lower mileage example for my next car – maybe
an Alpha?

John Pradelski says:

What is the average mpg. My guess is 17 to 18. We have a 07 jeep commander
with a 4.7 liter v8 and we get all around 15.9 mph

chestahill says:

Hi, very nice! Whats the most comfortable speed att highways? is it very
noisy?

chorstma44 says:

@Jaiyo17 Honestly it didnt feel underpowered at all. I was just doing daily
driving. The engine sounds fine and feels solid. Overall its a great truck.
But if you are looking to do some offroading too I would consider a jeep.
My grand cherokee will beat the hummer offroading any day. lol

Jaiyo17 says:

@chorstma44…Grand Cherokee beat the H3 anyday?. I’m sure the 2011 version
would but if the previous generations of Grand Cherokees( my dad owned an
’05 Overland) could whoop it, then I am now having serious second thoughts
about getting me the Beastly H3.

Rob Close says:

is that the Vortec 3500 I5?

Jaiyo17 says:

Hi, thank you very much for this video. I am looking on purchasing a 3.7L
H3. I’ve always appreciated hummers for their manly/yet professional built.
I have some questions for you if you dont mind answering: On 1-10, how
would you rate the 5-cyl engine. Does the engine ever knock or show signs
of underpower due to weight? In general, how much will I be disappointed
with the engine; Given I travel long distances and want to go offroading in
the snow occasionally. Thank you, chorstma44 🙂

chorstma44 says:

Thanks. They are really nice SUV’s

j12torts says:

how much is a hummer in the US?

stollo770 says:

Buy yourself a K&N cold air intake system, and a flowmaster performance
exhaust. While your at it replace all your stock spark plugs with e3
diamond fire spark plugs. The engine will sound amazing, it’ll perform
better (25-30hp gain) and ironically, you get better gas mileage as the
engine will be operating better. That’s what I did to my H3. Also, its not
a Hummer until you get a brush guard. Get a nice stainless steel one.

hayleecybertron says:

Does it feel really big when you drive it? Like, do you feel as though
you’re taking up more space than you actually are?

chorstma44 says:

I think its the base model. It is fully loaded but it doesnt have the V8

07350zhr says:

@chorstma44 bahaha i love the h3 and im selling my nissan for a h3 but
still its not going last as long as a toyota or nissan my friend sorry for
speaking truth

chorstma44 says:

Yes it is

Zzi Clan says:

@chorstma44 I took my 2007 H3 offroading and it did amazingly better than
the 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee I was with! My tow hook got all messed up
because of all the times I had to pull him out haha

reevertv says:

So, I am getting a Hummer H3 for my first car. It’s a 5 Cyl. engine… I
want to know if this thing can pick up speed when I need it to. I want to
know if It can be more then just a car everyone stays away from for their
own safety. Thanks

zanjani13 says:

AWESOME LOOKIN VEHCILE!

Ivan Braginski says:

He’s not copying saabkyle04. He’s just doing a perfectly innocent tour and
test drive of the H3 (which is not limited to a single YouTuber). If he
said “Hey, everybody! How’s it goin’?” and “And so, without further ado,
let’s start her up and let her run.” and said almost everything there is to
know about the H3 while going around it, only then would it be considered
copying saabkyle04.

stollo770 says:

All that I just said in the other post you can do at home, by yourself, in
your own garage. And it shouldn’t even cost you more than $800.00. <- Sounds expensive but its actually pretty cheap for a total engine overhaul/performance boost.

HummerTrucksGuy says:

Awesome!! I have a blue Hummer H3. It’s my profile picture. It’s got 20in
chrome rims which I don’t recommend because it messes up the rim when you
dive in salt. It did that to my stock rims but it didn’t show on the part
you can see. You have to take the tire off to see it. It’s REALLY bad.

Gran Turismo 5 TV says:

Stop copying saabkyle04, ppl!

chorstma44 says:

@reevertv It didnt feel very slow. Honestly, this was a couple years ago so
I dont remember. The best thing you can do is take one for a test drive and
decide if it feels fast enough for you
