We finally got our Warn winch and wanted to make a simple, clean mount for it. There are many aftermarket bumpers and such, but with the H3 Alpha, there aren’t many to choose from, or they’re HUGE. We wanted it to be small and strong. In this video we’ll show you how to make one with a simple Warn universal mount from Amazon and two pieces of plate steel.
You’ll need:
Drill
Metal Grinder
Tape measure
Welder
Two Pieces 5/16 steel plate 3″ x 42″ (cut to your own specs) for your frame width.
Winch mount with proper winch holes pre-drilled
Metal primer
Metal paint.

Structural flaw.. no integrity in the bottom section under the plate, should have run a couple pieces of angle iron under it.
What size tire do you have ?
The only flaw I see is it's not on my Hummer!
