Are low beam and high beam the same bulb? If just low beam out, is bulb
bad?

Anvie says:

this was awesome thank you

david gupton says:

what about the drivers side???

nukem384 says:

both your low beams dont work? its possible they are both out? or it could
be an electrical issue. i cant say without being there. but this would work
if they are both out.

Badon124 says:

If the low beams don’t work, but the high beams DO work; this probably
isn’t the repair I need, right?

Will A. says:

Worked for me. You really have to use a little muscle to budge the light
loose when you’re doing the 1/4 turn. Any chance you could make a video for
replacing the driver’s side light?

nukem384 says:

my guess is they touched the glass with their oily fingers. thatll do it
everytime.

Badon124 says:

Is there a way I can prove that?

sdaviddd says:

You have to be Asian to get your hand down there between the battery and
the bulbs. I had to take the battery out. Just an fyi

SimmonsCivicEG says:

What kind of bulb is that?

jbelle7435 says:

Those screws are to hold the light housing down to the car. That has
nothing to do with just replacing the bulb.

nukem384 says:

oem replacement sylvania 9006 bulb from the local auto parts store.

tsukasaFD3Sx says:

Thanks! This helped a lot!

mauimattipus says:

My problem is different: I removed the battery tie-down and slid the
battery backward, but couldn’t turn the light housing because it’s been
screwed down with what looks like four philips head screws. Any ideas?

back2thefutre says:

Thanks worked for me

TheDwuke says:

Great video! That one-quarter turn took a bit of elbow grease. Got the new
bulb in under ten minutes.

Lyrinda Snyderman says:

The driver’s side is totally different! Help!

Badon124 says:

No, just one low beam. The passenger side one. I just checked the fuse
today. It is good. The same light went out about 6 months earlier. There
must be a wiring problem or the people did a bad job replacing it I guess.

STJacobo says:

Thank you it really help!. just one comment, It was easy for me first
unplug and then turned. In a civic SI 2004 there is not too much space to
maneuver. Specially when changing the one in the driver side.

Bernard Kornfeld says:

Thanks mate – great video – helped me do the job in under 5 minutes. I have
a 2009 RH drive Civic. When changing the LHS bulb you don’t need to move
the battery. Just lift the washer reservoir straight up (its slides right
out of a bracket) and then reach in to remove the bulb.

FOXFIRECOMD1 says:

Thank you very much, I didn’t know about the 1/4 turn
