I thought the front speakers were 6.5?

Unless something is shot, I’d only recommend replacing the rear speakers
and installing an Iphone/Aux adapter, and here’s why: I hate to say it but
I haven’t noticed any difference in sound quality from the stock front door
speakers, besides possibly more bass. I definitely would not recommend
replacing the dash tweeters – if anything they sound worse than the stock.
The rear speakers (the JBL 6x9s) sound fantastic and are easy to replace,
unlike the other speakers. The quality and amount of sound that comes from
them is so much more than the 5 1/4’s in the front. The Iphone/Aux adapter
was also easy to install (takes under an hour) and works great.
So all in all Alpine’s are a no-go?

any tips on wiring the tweets?
what size are those MTX door speakers? also what iPod/Aux set up did you
use?
Without the brackets the speakers are too deep for the door, we could not
get alpine type r components in the door to fit
Where did you purchase the yellow interior removal tool?
