You can purchase the plastic tool at any local / generic auto parts store.
For all you 2014 Civic Coupe Si owners all of this is not necessary as you
can access the emblem from the outside.
Just cut off as much of the plastic nib as you can, Insert a plastic paint
scrapper under the badge, work it towards the center of the badge and it
will pop right off. Once i figured this out, it took only few minutes to
replace.
It’s a TypeR emblem. So why put it on an SI?
will i not be able to put the original one back on if i do this?
I tried to do it on my 2014 honda civic si coupe and damn the clip wonte go
at all and it’s a really tight space.. you have any idea how can i removed
it ?

Good idea with the dry erase marker! Top tip for performance driving: Make
sure to remove loose items from the vehicle to reduce weight, including
tools and Stu-Aways!
