rick drennan says:

Do you have any videos of changing the power steering pump on a 2005 aveo5

cnguyen616 says:

Thank You.

jorge m says:

Please heelpp meee. The deeler wants more than 1000 dollars to fix my
steering. I need to replace some parts too. That i know how to do it.
Please. Thanks

Kerry Schmidt says:

how do you drain all the powersteering fluid if you want to flush the
system?
Thanks

Sam Lipari says:

First, Thank you! I now believe I can replace this on my own. I filled the
steering fluid with a non Honda brand fluid and the next day the red cap
blew off while the vehicle was warming up. Fluid went everywhere and now
the cap won’t stay on. Just looking for an opinion. is it a cap problem or
a steering pump problem. This is a Honda odyssey 05 with a 172k. Thank you

Richard Torres says:

Thanks for video, should be easy to do. One question? I been looking on
line at Auto parts stores. The picture of the item does not appear to have
the valve where the hose goes into. Can I use the old one? or are there any
seals in between that also need to be purchased or replaced?

Adegboyega Adeoye says:

Very detailed video. Thank you very much. I was able to fix this problem
with no problem.

Andre Floyd says:

Hi, did you have a light whine when pushing the gas pedal? Is that related
to the power steering noise? Thanks

jorge m says:

Nice video. I just buy a 2007 touring, power steering is making noise,
honda said that the rack and pinion is fine and pump is fine, i need to
change reservoir , high presure line , pressure switch and flush all fluid.
The fluid is a mix of diferent types of fluid. Im thinking on doing it my
self. I allways work on my cars. But i never did this before, HOW DO I
FLUSH ALL THE FLUID FROM THE SYSTEM WITHOUT DAMAGING THE PUMP? AND, THE
PRESSURE SWITCK GOES ON THE PRESSURE LINE? THANKS IN ADVANCE. KEEP UP THE
GOOD WORK..THANKS …

wbaker7980 says:

How do I know it is my power steering pump not my rack and pinion if there
is no leaking visible ….

kleinvideo says:

Do you have a similar video for a 2002 Odyssey? If not, how much different
would the procedure be on a 2002, like does it need to be accessed from
underneath the vehicle?

m amassi says:

what was the torque numbers for the bolts, and did you use brake cleaner at
the end to clean the engine??

AllProEntertainment says:

Mine seems weaker with towing the trailer also brakes, thinking of just
getting a truck though

Your welcome

robertrmcgill says:

No problem Rick. Thanks for viewing

robertrmcgill says:

You can replace the pressure line only if its leaking. If you can send a
pic of your leak, I might be able to pinpoint it for you
