much easier to cut off line since your replacing it and get a socket on
it…
It definitely is difficult to break that fitting loose. I saw one other
video where the guy had to use Vise Grip Pliers to get the hose off because
it was stripped.
Did I see correct? Was there still a lot of thread left were it connects to
the rack?
At 6:50 you can see that I have the yellow cap on there. Most of the fluid
came out of the rack itself, no the hose.
Although it was really tough, I unplugged the connector to the sensor with
my hands. I removed the hose, then used a wrench to remove the sensor from
the old hose and re-install it onto the new hose.
what about cutting the hose where the connection to the rack is and use a
14mm on an air rachet to bust it loose. mine is hard as hell too
the yellow plug is for plugging where you took the hose out. thats why you
were leaking so much fluid, i just did mine and figured it out when it
didnt fit on the hose correctly. but thanks for video, helped a lot.
Thanks man this helped out a lot. I should be doing this in a couple of
days. Should only take me about an hour since I watched your video. Thanks
again and clean video. Very clear.
did you just disconnect the sensor with your bare hands or did you use
something to disconnect it from the car?
