Good vid. What was wrong with the clutch you removed? Was there visible
damage? Thanks.

Timothy King says:

Great and helpful video. I have a similar problem…Honda HRB215, serial
MZBA-6405287. The blades spin and engage just fine when I put the lever in,
cable is tight as well. When I go to cut the grass, the blades basically
cut for a few feet then stop spinning. If I were to replace the disk/clutch
lining part as you did in your video, should this solve my problem? Do you
happen to know the part number I need for my mower, or where I can find the
part #? Thanks in advance!

Smallgasengine1 says:

it was a worn out clute disk plate right? is this the same for honda
hrc216hxa’s? they have a differnt blade clutch set up

lugo small engines says:

my Honda mower vibrates a lot when off clutch… could be wrong blade? when
the mower clutch is activated and mowing, the mower hardly ever vibrates
and runs very smooth…

bradsengine says:

Was that an oem part? can you get an aftermarket plate like that?

Brian Johnson says:

Nice and quick, ebay is sometime dam handy as long as you dont buy parts
from china as the copys can be a bit too cheap.

Good to see you posting videos again. Do you check the torque with a torque
wrench when refitting blades for safety?

Mower Man says:

Undo the engine cover and stop the flywheel turning with a strap or wedging
it so it does not move. In this video he has an impact tool to undo the
bolt. Good luck.

JEREMY FOUNTAIN says:

it was worn out
