HELP my lower center clutch bolt is stuck. I cannot remove the center bolt
after I remove the blades. It seems to spin the entire assembly above,
including the belt. I have to use a lot of pressure to move it as well.
ALSO, the entire assembly moves off axis. I am guessing this means the
spring is busted, but how should I remove this bolt?

outdoorsman310 says:

do these clutches ever wear out? or the ones from the 80s anyway

Pat Moore says:

Can you make a video of your shop?

TheWallyjp says:

JEREMY FOUNTAIN says:

YEAH ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY MOW THICK WET HEAVY GRASS ALL THE TIME.

hpmower says:

awesome intro!

SeRReAL6 says:

and i dont know if that could play a factor to where the mower pull cord
isnt able to move and when he used it he had the blade on and he lost his
balance and causing the mower to fall off of the sidewalk and it fell right
on top of the curb and i dont know if that could cause the pull cord to
seize up and idk if the motor just seized up or if the transmission ties
into starting the motor, im a newbie at the small motors game but if you
could help me out with this i gladl appreciate it thanks

SeRReAL6 says:

i have the same model lawn mower and i was wondering if you can help me
with a problem that i have, so yesterday i was mowing the lawn and i had to
move something out of my way and i let go of the blade control and as soon
as i did that my mower just shut off by itself so i went to go pull the
pull cord and the pull cord would even move like as if it was seized up or
something and i noticed before that happend it was moving slower and the
day before that one of my workers hit against the curb

William Todd says:

Honda makes a good mower, but for being a commercial quality mower and
being so expensive you would think it would have a larger bag capacity,
they seem to have the worlds smallest bagger. Even the cheap $180 mower at
True Value has a larger bagger.

JEREMY FOUNTAIN says:

rust isnt an issue here in texas but im shure it is near the ocean…..most
of the decks i replace are just from being plain worn out (dirt blasting)
commercial guys use the hondas and get 8+ years of service from them with
very little care….if a man would pay attention and fix the nickel dime
stuff right away rather than wait till somthin major breaks the hrc216
should last a home owner a lifetime in my opinion

spottymaldoon says:

Jesus – put the blade back on and the two bolts and use it as its own
puller! I would not want this guy whacking my mower like that!

Bread996 says:

Beating on the engine shaft (or any bearing shaft) isn’t a smart idea.

JEREMY FOUNTAIN says:

me neither….they are def no bueno

mikem2277 says:

Love your videos! Especially now as an owner of a HRC216HXA…What would
you recommend if I wanted to touch up the deck? Whats the deck color
called? I cant find a part number for the paint… Also have you seen any
HRC216 rusted decks? I am used to Toro and Exmark that have aluminum decks
but a little worried about rust and Honda’s steel decks.

dick sdan says:

i love watching your videos you screw up and show how hard it is to repair
mowers other people cut that part out THIS IS REAL LIFE REPAIR

JOE Z says:

Hello, do you have a video changing Blade Brake Clutch on a John Deere
JX75?

MrRmh3481 says:

Good Show MM1. Truthfully, I dont know why guys buy these Blade Clutch
mowers. As far as Im concerned all BBC units are, how do you say it, No
Bueno!

TDHReviews says:
