How to replace a recoil starter rope on most small engines. It’s so simple anyone can do it. Dive in and let’s get this repair done together.

The starter rope I’m using is Stens True Blue part # 146-919, # 5, which you can find here https://amzn.to/3VpKfVQ. Most small engines shop will sell you what you need by the foot.

Although in this example we are using a Honda GX 160 most major brands such as Briggs and Stratton and Kohler will be similar.
