MJ Hammer says:

I attempted to install new rear shocks on my daughter's 2015 Honda Fit just this morning and I could not remove the two lower bolts. I used penetrating oil, a breaker bar, a mallet, and an impact wrench. They would not budge and I was afraid I was going to snap them in two. (02/18/23)

Nevarez Family says:

Thank you! Great video.

Figgles274 says:

Be nice if you added the torque specs for the bolt in description.

Charkatak says:

Thank you for the video! I own 2010 Fit base and hear a thunk noise from rear when I go over speed bumps diagonally. Basically one rear wheel goes over the bump, then another. During that motion noise might be there. If I go very slow, I may not hear anything. Could this be that top center nut from the shock is not tight as it should be?

Mustaq Rahim says:

raise the car higher to put tension on the shock , that way the top nut will come off , the added tension will keep the top shock stud from spinning

S.T. Entertainment & Reviews says:

Excellent! Thanks

Slow Goat says:

When u tighten the shock absorbers should the car be on the floor or lifted

José says:

Never had any idea this was so easy, and not even having to remove the wheels is a definite plus. Of course I've been bitten by the lowering bug and now I gotta find the video on how to replace the springs. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Can i use this method for honda fit 2016 LX

Matt G says:

Thanks for the instruct! Apparently, the KYB factory is out of stock of KYB3430057 shocks for the Honda 2015 Fit. Do you know if your part # will work on my 2015 model? You mention "through 2015" in your video but your title says -2014. Hoping you can shed light on whether something changed starting 2015 related to shocks

Shu-aib Anthony says:

How can I get sound for honda jazz?

Shu-aib Anthony says:

Thanks awesome video! Buying my rear shocks tomorrow as its worn out completely for my honda jazz 2011.

JohnT48231 says:

Just what I was looking for, thank you!

Bill S says:

Painless. Great vid!

Trevor Harris says:

should a 4-wheel alignment be done after replacing only the rear shocks?

scott higgins says:

Hello Brian, Thank you sir. I have a question. The impact put one top nut on without needing second allen wrench to hold, so I did same way on other side. But it spun quite a bit before I noticed it. Does this do anything to the shock? Is it an adjustment of some sort?
