Are there extra steps to consider if you have the hybrid version of this car, or is it as simple as disconnecting the negative terminal on the car battery (the one under the hood, not the one under the back seat)?
Damn all that for a cruise control button
My god. The size of that hangnail!
Perfect directions! Thank you!
So the lights went out on the steering wheel on my 08 Honda Accord.I called the dealership about getting it fixed and they said those aren’t serviceable.I now know why.Good good all that just to change a switch
Hi. I have a 2010 model Honda City LS (empty equipment) vehicle. Would the module be active if I took the cruise control keys like your video? Are cables from the steering wheel to the brain of the car and so on standard?
Thank you.
Do you have to remove the steering wheel just to replace the buttons
It doesn’t look like there any reason to take the entire wheel off if you’re just replacing the cruise control switches… is there?
How is this different than the 2012? Will it be any different for me?
I need to install audio and cruise control in honda HRV, can i do it without unplug the battery ACCU? Im afraid it will reset any original setting on machine
Dear 1A Auto Parts Team,
great video, it's a really big support !!! 🙂
At https://youtu.be/OmWgCnUWMdg?t=495 you say, it's possible to do this "in" the car. Does it mean WITHOUT taking off the steering wheel? Is it possible to remove the back plastic cover to unbolt screws fixing the switches?
Thanks a lot and best regards

amazing video man
This question is for the 2011 Civic, if you are able to answer it. Since the EX model has the upgraded stereo system, it has both the cruise and audio control (Part # 36770-SVA-A41), while the LX model only have the cruise control (Part # 36770-SVA-A31). Currently, the LX model is among one of my option I'm looking to buy (I understand that it won't be able to function with the standard radio either way).
From what I can see, both trim levels used the same connectors, so I would like to believe I'm able to used the EX's switch assembly in the LX after setting up an aftermarket radio. Am I correct in assuming this or Honda didn't have it pre-wired in the LX to save on cost in resources?
are there any risk of misaligned steering wheel?
