Steven Marzullo says:

People should understand that when your wheel bearings go bad the wheels wobble and cause uneven groving on the brake rotor…..You should replace your brake rotors and pads when replacing your wheel bearings. This will ensure smooth braking. Normal pad wearing and normal tire wearing.

Cameron Phillips says:

Just a tip, if you're having a hard time putting the brake assembly back together, you can take a large screwdriver (or a chisel might work better) and twist the plunger. It will recede and create a larger opening for the pads. Just remember to pump the brakes before you get on the road to push it back together, just like you would when changing the pads!
