This is awesome! I have a faulty hood latch on my 2015 Honda Civic 4DR. Tempted to DIY it myself, not sure how different it would be from this model?
What about 2012 civic?
Have replaced the cabel bt now it won't closes fully and when there is a bump or humps the hood half opens
What if the rivet is loose on the lever you pull with your finger to pop the latch?
Great job – both filming and narrative! Thank you!
Great video.
How would you replace the hood switch if faulty?
That is, the one that tells if the hood is open or closed.
Great video!
thank you very much for this video
What would be a good way to align the new piece? Outline the old piece with a marker, then install?
