Hi I have the 98 V6 Coupe I replaced the fuel regulator, fuel injectors. When I start the car it idles low and heavy fuel smell. I replace charcoal canister , and cleaned out throttle and replaced EGR and cleaned manifold. I also have coolant leaking from timing belt maybe water pump. I haven’t been able to check yet because if I let off gas the engine stalls

Lot tree White says:

After cleaning the throttle no need to erase any code
Because I have done mine then come a check engine

C G says:

I replaced all fuel injectors exactly like in this video, now I have flashing check engine light after doing this. I used code reader and am getting codes p1399 p0300 p0301 p0304 and p0306, all misfires.

Has this happened to anybody after changing out fuel injectors? Did I damage a gasket? There was no check engine light before replacing injectors. Car turns on, has a little bit of a shake, shakes more when I press gas to 2000 rpm while in park, smells a bit like gas, and has a little bit of faint smoke from exhaust.

Also, when put back fuel injection rails, turn key on to engine, fuel pump works to see if any injectors are leaking. Now's the Time to check! Don't be a cheapo, buy New o- rings for injectors, and all gaskets needed, including throttle body. Also clean intake and paint! Nice looking when done!

Negative battery cable comes off First, goes on Last. Pull fuel pump fuse and start engine till quits. Overall, Great Vid!

Dave Howie says:

Excellent vid. Very satisfying to watch.

Tai Nguyen says:

It's a great clip.

William Curry says:

Before starting this whole procedure how do you depressurize the fuel line to the injectors so you don’t get gasoline everywhere? Do I just unplug the fuel pump relay/fuse or is there more? Thanks!

James Heil says:

Thanks Igor for the great info and edited video. Best video I seen on auto maintenance. For my 1999 Acura TL.

Justin Milam says:

I have 2000 tl 3.2 i replace the plugs and coils an i still get misfire in #5 gas smells when the heat is on engine spudder with take off idle and accelerate

Nicolas Charlebois says:

Awsome video. My engine is running lean and there is a raw gas smell so I'm going to check them right away. Thanks 😉

Chris Chong says:

Great video. My question is; what was the symptom with the car that prompted you to replace all six fuel injectors rather than clean them up? They are very expensive, and what brand did you use? How is the car performance so far? I have a 2000 Honda Accord V6 that I feel like it's hesitating lately.
