hey i really need some help and i can’t find anything that explain my
problem.. my front speaker on the driver side door don’t work, its not the
speaker the problem but my door wire, how i can replace that? and how hard
it is to do? thanks!

Ben Earl says:

I’m assuming the procedure is essentially the same for the rear speakers. I
have a bit of a problem, though. The speakers on the back don’t have that
convenient little plug. They have two wires leading from the speakers (pos
and neg) that connect to the little plastic connectors that you showed at
2:48. I tried pulling the wires out of the connector, but it’s crimped down
pretty tight. Is there a way to uncrimp the connector, or do I have to just
cut the wire and buy new connectors?

Nikonator13 says:

Can I install 5 1/4” woofers for the front speakers? ( Will they fit) or
it’s only 6 1/2″ ?

brian mckie says:

is this different for the civic 97 cuz if it is can u please make quick

Fixbook says:

That’s a good idea for a video, I’ll keep it mind.

Jacob Curtis says:

I already have a new radio/cd player installed in the head unit but stock
speakers. The sound is alright but I’m also replacing the speakers with
either pioneers or Sonys. Any recommends?

BigDirtyBasterd says:

I have a 97 accord, can you do a video on how to replace the tweeters with
after market? Id like to keep the grills to keep the stock look.

Fixbook says:

My guess is 5 and 1/4 inch, but I really have no clue. You can use a
measuring tape and just measure across to get the diameter.

Shalashaska016 says:

Is there much difference between the EJ8 (96-00 civic) and the EG (91-95)
that you know of for the speakers? If it’s clamps like that and I don’t
have to deal with the door panel like the EJ8 then cool. I just saw a
different vid talking about welding and soldering and what not.

I don’t think it is.

Pedro Clemente says:

can.

vtecswagger says:

Would the rear speakers be any different???

jspat49 says:

do the wires connect to positive and negative slots on the speakers ?

spencer atkinson says:

What size of speaker would you use for Honda civic 2001 hx coupe

Fixbook says:

I’m not sure if I understand your question correctly, but I’ll try and
answer. Yes there are positive and negative terminals on the speaker, and
yeah wires do connect to them. Hope that helps, thanks for commenting.

Fixbook says:

O, no problem, glad I could help.

Fixbook says:

I’d love to do a video like that, but right now I don’t have one of those
to work on.
