Here we show you how to replace the brake lights, reverse lights and rear blinker bulbs in a 2018 Honda Civic EX-T. This is the same for all 10th generation Honda Civics. including 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and maybe 2021 if they don’t change it. It is really easy to do.
Here are the bulbs for the entire rear of the car.
I have also included LED versions if you want to switch to LED’s.

The bulb is not the same on the coupe for some reason, bought the brake light in this video and it was different for mine unfortunately
how do you change the light bulb on the tail light above that? the other extension to those lights on the trunk lid ,does it ever have to be replace?
What size are the screw
Changed mine today and not my top left screw won't screw back on :// but this video was great tho
Thanks saved me some hassle and £25 the Honda garage would have changed
I'm assuming this is correct weather you have a coupe, sedan or hatchback?
How about the bulb on the trunk tail light
Would be nice to replace these with LED bulbs instead.
Thank you sir !
I am using videos like these to teach my son how to do maintenance on his car. Thanks!
Thank you!!
What about the third light
what about the night time running lights i need help asap like my brake lights work but not the night time running lights
I just got a new set of LEDS for my 2020 and all the video did not explain how simple this was. I saw one video were the guy was tell you that you can break the tabs and he put tape to protect the edges when he pulled off the light.. Wow how simple was this. Just take out the 2 screws and pull either to the left for the drivers side and pull to the right for the passenger side. Thats it. I heard, pop pop and out the tail light came out. That easy..
Thank you for this!!!
Why does the brake light use a single-filament bulb 7440 instead of a double filament 7443? How does the tail light light up at night when the headlights are turned on and then when the brakes are applied? Is there a separate bulb that performs this function?
