You may want to test the switch with a test light or an ohm meter to see if
it’s working correctly. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
@vampyrickiss69 Here’s a video that will show you how to repair the front
window regulator. Here’s a link to the replacement window regulator for
your Honda Accord that we carry on our website.

@BiGMiKe314 Can’t say exactly but if it makes no upward movement at all it
is more likely your switch.
@fouofit1 Make sure you have the window in the track. Did you replace the
regulator and motor?
I have the same problem as bigmike314. do I need a new switch for the rear
side window exclusively?
@Riddimz978 If the car was hit on the same side, it’s possible that the
window motor may have been damaged, or that the window regulator may have
been bent. Hope this helps you out.
hey my back window (96 Honda Accord Ex, I just bought it) goes down but its
hard to come back up i gotta use my hand so it moves up faster.. from what
ive seen, the car look like it got hit from that side.. could it be that
the motor is damaged? please pm and let me know.. thanks
THANK’S! after watching your video, my window regulator went south. I went
to your web site, and placed my order. I ordered around 2:00pm, and it came
the next day by 4:30pm (FREE SHIPPING). Great part, great service. I will
be back. I give your overall performance 5+ stars! You guys have the best
automotive online store I have used.
would this solution work for the passenger side on a 94 honda accord lx
2door? please let me know.
what happens if my power window will go down but not go up? please help. is
it the regulator?
Would this process be the same for an 04 accord?
Thank you so much
@EthnoExpresso On many of the cable driven regulators, the only option is to
buy the whole motor with the window regulator assembly for your Honda
Accord. We have them on our main website 1aauto.com with free shipping.
this really helped me,I have a 2006 jeep liberty and I have that same
problem with mine.
The 04 may be different. You should be able to apply some of the basic
steps to your 2004 Honda Accord.
@G33CH843 Don’t have a 91 right now but when I do I’ll do the video.
thanks man.. the driver side window on my Honday Odessey wouldn’t go up.
your video walked me through the steps to fix it.. and I’m far from a handy
man!
Thx for this video… how do I tell if I need to replace just regulator
versus the motor versus both? FYI: I heard a popping & cracking sound (upon
using the power window switch) before my window would no longer roll up.
Thx in advance
Awesome video, thank you so much guys. I have referenced your site for both
drivers front and rear as well as passenger side light. Saved me a great
deal of aggravation of having to figure it out myself.
@andrenegwer Thanks for checking us out!
Thanks for checking us out.
hey howcome when i finished installing it the window goes up very slow?
@greeneyes2164 It could be the motor or even the switch going to the motor
on your Honda Civic. I would test the wire going to the window motor with a
test light while pressing the switch to see if there’s current going to it.
If there isn’t any current then it may be the switch, just make sure that
there’s power to the switch.
