while driving home at night. any idea?? I don’t think it could be light
bulb in the fog light becuz I bought the fog light new
thanks for this video bro! this will helps me alot…
heyy i need help connecting the relay of the fog lights…
Aujourd’hui t’en pense quoi de ça ?
If I have to do another fog light Install for a 99 Honda Civic it would
take me 2hrs the most instead of 6hrs LOL.. Thanks again for video
@cudid14 Yes.. This is a OEM bumber.. but it’s the canadian model. if your
bumber look like the same, yes you can.
@Avy70 It would have been easier if hellmaster94 would have said to leave
the short wiring with the light switch in the car. ground the negative
(black) wire to the car, plug the brown wire into the second plug hole at
the top left of the fuse box, run the thin red wire male plug through the
fire wall into the engine bay and connect it to the thin red female plug,
connect the plug to the on/off switch and DONE!
you never said how to connect the fog light to the bumper, can any one help
me ?
I have mine weird up but keeps blowing out fuse so I replace with a better
relay and 40 amp fuse n still blew out
thanks boss.
The brown connector near to the steering fluid is a ”male” connetor.
Since your fog light kit should have came with the same ”male” kind of
connector, you have simply no choise : you have to plug it into a
”female” connector. The ones we see under the steering wheel are the
females connectors i’m talking about. It’s near the fuse box. I only showed
the brown connector near the fluid tank because that’s where the mistaken
instructions that i founded shows that you should plug it there…
I’m trying to figure out how to install my fog lights with this video but I
got different wires than the ones shown in this video need help please
Finally, there’s 4 bolts under the bumper** 2botls and 2 screws.
@CholoCWalk I looked at your video, it’s hard to tell, but since ur switch
is lighting on, there 2 things i would try : Maybe your groud for the fogs
lights, not the switch’s one, the other one in our engine bay. Otherwise,
did u try to plus ur brown wire in an other fuse slot ? give me feed back.
@hellmaster Dang alright, post a vid if yu find out ha
Hey bro I install my fog lights and I fallow ur steps but I still can’t
make them to work, please help me, I took a quick video n post it in
YouTube, take a quick look n help me out, please..
@Avy70 Welcome! Happy it helped !
Nice civic It’s really clean
Where did u get instruction from
@cudid14 i don’t know..never happened to me so far.. What i can suggest,
take off your bumber and i think you will be able to un screw the mount
from the burned light… than i dont have any clues..
did we have to cut the bumper ?
I tried installing my fog lights on my 00 Honda civic lx sedan but I
couldn’t find the brown plug that you show near the power steering fluid.
Is it located somewhere else?? Thanks
Hello! I have the same Fogs as yours, however I couldn’t figure out the
inside wiring, could you help me out? It would nice if you could because
i’ve been searching all over the net and I can’t seem to find any
instructions about these wiress. thanks!
@ggpucky85 I’m not sure since itsn’t a 99-00 but I wouldn’t understand why
the same product woudn’t be installed the same way. The wiring part is
probably similar, but since they change the bumper between 00 and 01
models, don’t base your cutting pattern on my.
@LJakaCHAMP First when you get it out, you gonna see some small plastic
points. Use a hammer and a nail to make a small whole throught the bumper..
Then use a 40mm Wholesaw and put the center of it on the small whole you
just did with your hammer&nail.. You will , at the end, get 7 wholes (if i
can remember). Than i used a rotary tool kit to cut the tangente on every
circles to get a whole. After, like i said in the video you take a 11mm
drill and make a whole throught the X on the middle pannel
@hellmaster94 Yu could put fog lights on a OEM Honda bumper right? I own a
99 lx civic My cousin told me I can’t-_-
@BN3DC2 Happy it helped you!
@kkeithhh You should take a look at page6 of the document I added to the
video. You just need to put the whole thing in the big whole you cutted ,
and secure the thing with a screw and a bolt in the 11mm whole you should
have done at the back of the bumper wheres there the ”X” in a circle.
Thank you for this video I have a 99 honda civic coupe I bought fog lights
the yellow kind did not come with instructions, my set up was different
then yours, the eletrical wiring only was different, I had to use the plug
were the windshield washer container is, I had problems with the switch
harness didnt know were to plug 2 of the male brown plugs , watching your
video of were you plugged the brown male plug at the fuse box helped me
save alot of time, Everything works great. THANKS
Yes to insert the fogs throught, nothing big, look the instructions in the
description they show you how to cut it
Thanks. Yu could just plug it to the right headlight also and use yur
regular switch in the car.
isnt there a hole in the firewall on the drivers side too ?
@LJakaCHAMP if you don’t know, a ”wholesaw” is a tool you put into your
drill to cut wholes. You can buy it at any hardware stores. The one you
need is a 40mm. (1.6 inch)
Your french !
What if I need to replace a bulb what do i do?
🙁 thanks 🙂
Wired
Sick
what did you use to cut the bumper ?
