Thanks for watching my vid and rating me. Not sure why I have a few
dislikes, I tried to be as clear as possible.

cr8zblackguy says:

@villalobos anthony if you have keyless entry, you will have a led on the
from of the stock radio. Also there will be a extra box above the radio
that controls the keyless. You pull those cables out of that box and plug
the new wire harness.

cr8zblackguy says:

@Angel Caro What white metal thing are you referring to?

cr8zblackguy says:

@Dean brown I didn’t have a metal support with two screws. Only the metal
sleeve. From what I could tell though, it’s a simple remove two screw
process.

cr8zblackguy says:

@arvin Marquez Did you get your wire harness from Crutchfield or someplace
else?

arvin marquez says:

dude please help me i got no white only two green. what will i do? i just
got the power acoustic pd 718. what do you nthink the best i do?

Dean Brown says:

The rear support metal thingy, that were 2 screws screwed from the bottom,
how would u take it the metal out of the original radio and screw it back
on the aftermarket radio one, btw I have 1999 civic and the same
aftermarket radio u have pioneer

jonnyp1025 says:

What was the name of the wire harness you bought from Crutchfield? I have
the same car and want to buy the correct harness

cr8zblackguy says:

@jonnyp1025 It’s vehicle specific. Just select if your car has keyless
entry or without. Mine is with keyless entry even though it does not work.
It’s $14.99

Angel Caro says:

i go t the same radio all im missing is the white metal thingy btw whats
the name of white metal thingy

Villalobos Anthony says:

HOW do you know if the car has a keyless entry?

cr8zblackguy says:

thanks for watching and for the comments.

cr8zblackguy says:

Glad I could help

cr8zblackguy says:

Daniel the previous radio was not bolted in. I didn’t know until after I
purchased the car but it wasn’t a huge problem since it was stock.

Daniel Lopez says:

so your radio isn’t bolted on, and can just be pulled out??

bestmastermind951 says:

for future installations leave the metal cage or sleeve on while u install
the trim kit so that way u save time and u can connect ur radio faster if
connect that first before u put the trim but overall u did a good job not
many ppl kno how too install radios

Mary Voorhees says:

HI, I’m planning on installing the same radio on my ’96 Honda Civic with
keyless entry also. Could you send me links to the other pieces you used
(wiring harness, etc)?

cr8zblackguy says:

bestmastermind I believe I did try that first. I could not get it to fit in
properly as i remember

cr8zblackguy says:

george your welcome

George Ab says:

Thanks for taking the time to post this! Good confidence boost to study
before you install to give a better idea of what needs to be accomplished.

cr8zblackguy says:

mary sorry for the late response. I picked up ecerything I needed from
Crutchfield. Super cheap, comes with instructions and fast shipping. My car
has the keyless although it doesn’t work.
