As a girl, this was an easy fix for me. :)

thanxç

dylan wuerfl says:

Eld is the most dumbass shit installed. It messes with your alternator and
tells it to put out a high input. Your car will eventually fail and won’t
be able to move when your reving. Its dumb.

BlueRice says:

i couldnt find any part number anywhere. i searched high and low for 1997
civic eld. the dealership dosnt even have the eld. do you know that part
number?

briansmobile1 says:

What did you search as- what was the part #?

briansmobile1 says:

It sounds like it may be over charged and there’s too much refrigerant.
What happens is when there’s too much it winds up backing up pressure to
the low side so expansion can’t happen- and thus latent heat vaporization
can’t occur.

bstory208 says:

I just searched 02 honda civic electric load detector. The seller’s
username is basneyparts on ebay.

I just buy them at the dealership.

Hisergirl says:

FYI, I found the part number for the ELD on the civic forums. The part
number is: 38255-S5A-003. Hope that helps anyone else with the same problem!

Dennis Canon says:

I have a 2003 EP3 Civic Type R, its idle seems a bit low and lumpy but
drives fine when driving etc, plugged it in to a Snap On Pro and got the
code P1298 ELD Voltage high, but that is the only code, do you think this
is causing the “Lumpy” idle etc? and I should replace the ELD to fix it?
thanks for the video man!!
