my car has been sitting in the drive not working for close to one and a half years with no codes being thrown out. and after watching your video I took my engine apart and looked at everything it has no sludge and no bad timing everything worked. but now after taking away the MAF sensor it started and ran as it did the day before it didn't. and gotta say thanks for the information of your vids.

It's so weird seeing this video… because i know nothing about cars and you make it seem so simple. The hard part is actually knowing where and what to look for. Fixing the car itself doesn't seem all to difficult, it's the diagnostics that's the hard part it seems
Any mechanic that starts replacing shit without knowing what is wrong with the car is a scam, And definitely shouldn't be charging for their services when they replace shit that doesn't need replaced.
Also, i'd give the neighbor back the car as a gift for all the trouble he went through, since you didn't actually have to replace anything (Also do let your neighbor know to find a new mechanic.)

yooo chris my aunties vz sv6 2005 commodore is having the same issue, i have checked the comrpession, fuel system, fuel injector and etc all of em seems to be fine, i haven't check the drive chain now i think thats the reason why its doing the same thing as the honda, aunty said if i can restore her car as a challenge she said i can keep the commie for free, i was thinking of selling it right after i restore it as pretrol prices in strya is ridiculous right now i could get at least 5k out of the commodore as the condition, body is dented scratch free no paint or ware in the tires,interior is clean no rip chairs lmfao. just a dead engine hopefully your videos will help me out as always
