Thanks for the video. Easy to follow instructions

Watched the video and got the job done in no time. Thanks for the video, always helps when you can see the job before you have to do it.

Rob Campbell says:

Thank you for posting this! Very clear. Took me less than 45 mins. Trickiest part is restarting the bolts holding in the handle, needlenose pliers help. Also put all the white plastic clips right back into the tailgate rim cap right after you take it off, paying attention to their orientation. It went right back on, first try for me. Putting the clips back in was the most time-consuming part of the process.

Ben Henson says:

I would say the #1 problem with my 2022 Ridgeline Sport is the outdated infotainment system.

Tess van Dijk says:

Ok it was an easy step by step install. i did it in under 45 min. The hardest thing was getting the bolts loose and reattaching the top of the tail gate. But both were easy with your instructions. Thanks so much for a great DIY video.

Bill Verhel says:

Hey, Thank you so much for your Ridgeline videos, they have been quite helpful. I have changed out the back door checkers on my 2019 Ridgeline with the help of your video, and I added the locking tailgate handle about a year ago. I finally got around to pulling out the lock cylinder and having it re-keyed to the factory key today. For $20.00 at a local locksmith, it was well worth it. Again, good job on your videos, keep up the good work!

Rob Sukach says:

Excellent video. I just did the same install on my 2018 and this video made it simple. Thanks for posting!

subaru4me says:

If I understand the system I think I prefer this non power lock method. If someone were to break into the car couldn't they just use the lock button on the door and gain access? This method they could not?

Kenneth Tothero says:

LOL!! Just got my kit a day or two ago & pulled out the EIGHT PAGE manual (that you highlight in the video), which tells you: To unlock – insert key and turn 90 degrees CCW. To lock – insert key and turn 90 degrees CW. 😀 And now I'm here, where you'll actually show me how to install it.

Fred Lindeman says:

Does this lock work on the 2021 Ridgeline

indyhitman7 says:

Thank you so much for the video. Just did this to my 19 ridgeline and it was perfect to follow
