Honda Civic Roof Molding (Drip Side Molding) Windshield Trim Replacement (2006-2011)

Honda Civic Roof Molding (Drip Side Molding) Windshield Trim Replacement (2006-2011)

Honda Civic Roof Molding (Drip Side Molding) Windshield Trim Replacement (2006-2011). In this video I show how to replace the Roof Molding (also called Drip Side Molding) on an eighth generation Honda Civic. Replacing the windshield trim roof molding on your Honda Civic is a good DIY project that can make the vehicle look much better. The exact vehicle in this video is a 2006 Honda Civic EX 1.8L Sedan. 2006-2011 Honda Civics should be similar.

Emmanuel kojo Acquah says:

Great content but pls can u suggest where I can get some of the robber frames to buy? Need some urgently for my car.

Mohit Mohile says:

Great detail video. I watched a couple of times before working on my car and replaced molding without any issue. Did not remove additional parts under hood though as I don't have all other required tools for that.

Aaron Parker says:

Once again thanks for the great video! I have also watched your videos for the rear shocks and flushing the ps fluid. My '08 Civic is about to roll 200k miles. Roof molding should be good for another 200k 🙂

ADNER FLORES says:

hello teacher big dog50… one question can you give me the code of the roof molding please… because I need to buy them for my honda civic 2011 and I don't know what they are!!!

Rayaarito says:

I opted to go the route of not removing all the panels in the bay BUT I wanted to prepare for just incase I had to. I bought all the parts needed for this video and watched it a few times before doing the task. This is the only in-depth video regarding this as of this date. Great job and thank you! I used your links so hopefully they still give you a commission because you earned it

S N says:

In most cases like mine, the part of the drip molding over the windshield (primarily cosmetic) is damaged. Instead of spending $200 for brand new drip size moldings (that go over the windshield and top), I purchased a Neoprene Rubber Strip (1" Wide x 1/8" Thick x 10' Long) from Amazon for $12, cut 2 pieces for Left and Right and pushed it in the gap between the windshield and the body (little cutting of the 1" width as you near the top). Took 15 minutes. Went through a 8 hour ride with heavy rain for an hour and held up well. My 2010 Civic looks nice now!

Polaridad X says:

Thanks my brother

Daniel Johnson says:

Great video, nicely done. My daughter and I are getting ready to do this on her car, so now I know what I need to do to prep for it (buying extra replacement clips, mostly). So thanks!

Fishing with Pabs says:
