Jeremy Pilot says:

They say the D series was junk…if it really was that bad, why do we see 2001-2005 Civis all over the place with over a 1/4 million miles?

Marty Fragale says:

You forgot h series

Metal Mike says:

I Like Scotty School.

Adam Chapman says:

Love my old Honda Prelude with H22a Turbo its only making 419 whp but been reliable since I built it 5 years ago Happy we don't have emissions here in Canada or it would only be a track car lol.

Marty Neilan says:

Late 80's through mid to late 2000's was the peak for Honda and Toyota. The quality is just not quite the same anymore, maybe due to all the complexity.

alan koza says:

I use a Honda riding mower 20 years old still use it like I stole it ..

andrewbayer17 says:

Scotty, what do you think about the Kia Optimas switching to the K5?

ShiftyKen 08 says:

I love my 2012 Accord V6 manual coupe!

At my local Honda dealer I saw a sign in the Service department that wanted advisors to offer to buy customer's cars. Each model has a desirable year range except for the CRV which simply stated, ANY.

J T says:

I think the R18 engine is underrated for its longevity.

Iguanas Jigsta says:

Finally was able to buy my first new car and always wanted a new 2 dr Accord. Wish they would bring them back. Can't stand the look of the new 4 dr. Hate the cockpit on the Camry. Went with Suburu

dirk diggler says:

such reliable cars but that civic type R is the ugliest car in decades , shaped by a blind man with a baseball bat

Mike Merrill says:

My Favorite Honda is the 1973 CR-250!!

mike gentzke says:

I owned a 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback DX. The car ran well but it was just to noisy. After 15 years and 190,000 miles the frame rotted away. Every since, I’ve been a Toyota fan.

Robb Chastain says:

So I'd have to say my favorite Honda will always be the one which was liked by thousands of teens in the Seventies–the first Honda Elsinore 125cc motocross motorcycles, affordable and reliable and easily upgradable with after-market components by DG and FMF and the like. And the first American superstar motocross rider was Marty Smith, who won championships for Honda in those red, white, and blue jerseys, so cool. And it was quite the racing fisticuffs back then, the upstart Americans v. the grizzled Europeans. It was sports at its best back then, all the motorsports and the escapades of those racers and their mechanics.

Mauricio Velez says:

Cant believe the s200 was left out… still a great video as always

DET48210 michigan says:

I had an '88 accord LX-i 5 speed.
Loved that car. Got me thru a very broke area of my life being newly married with a new baby.
It Never let me down.
I Miss my buddy…

Keyblade Master Jesse says:

I agree with what everyone is saying about Honda reliability and comfort, but can we also talk about how stylish Honda makes their cars? And I don’t mean stylish in a luxury way, I mean stylish as in they age really well in terms of look and design.

Martin TRAN78 says:

I hate Honda 1 thing when I service its Doors, that glue and plastic shields are very stupid.

Said says:

Scotty: Here's why Honda's New Cars are Genius
Also Scotty: Proceeds to give us a history of all older Hondas and never talks about new cars.

Time Traveler says:

Read article about Honda / Acura Engines and reliability , in which they gave allot of good to great analysis on different aspects . One of the Keys Points ( that back up Allot of what Scotty has said for years ) is if the Vehicle is well Maintain the AVERAGE life expectancy is around 200,000 miles . This was a Actual Study done ( excluding wreaks )

James Worthington says:

You said the people at Honda are genius but a couple months ago when you heard they were doing joint stuff with GM you said the were idiots. Make up you mind
