@elfutfoundation After this repair i filled the transmision with oil and
sold the car with no leaks hope it works well for your car.

BlazEnvoy says:

either way works

MrPwnies says:

You’re supposed to pop off your center cap while the car is on the ground
and break the axle nut that way… not the way you’re doing it.

Elfie Samawi says:

Good job buddy. I’m doing exactly the same thing on my 90 Celica for my
drive axle seal and hopefully it doesn’t leak anymore as I can see it’s
leaking from that area. Did u top up more gear oil in there or what?

enduro rider says:

Hey man, good video. I noticed that it looks like you only have a jack
supporting the car. i hope you had some other support other than just a
hydrolic jack. A good friend of mine died last year by having a car fall on
him in his garage. his daughter found his body. They miss him. Always
support the car! Thanks man!

whoodiestyle says:

Where did u remove it can’t see shit

Roger Abramson says:

Nitrile gloves. Good. But I don’t see any jack stands in the video.
According to the NHTSA, nearly 5,000 injuries per year are caused by
slipped jacks. While I’m at it, you’re also exposing yourself to brake
dust, which still has asbestos. Google the asbestos facts from the EPA.

Raylenn Phoenix says:

Thanks for posting, couldent find any thing on what’s involved in getting
at the axel seal. My 97 civic dx has the same issue on the passenger side
and i really didn’t want to take it to the shop and have them fix it (>.>
quoted me 100$ and the parts something like 15$… like wow..)

MrSlowestD16 says:

pop out the center cap of the wheel and drop it to loosen the wheel nut.

Doomzdayxx says:

This would be such an easy fix if I didn’t have a god damn problem with
rusted/stuck cotter pins ever single fucking time.

Josh Gosnell says:

Is this 5 speed

kcasare says:

Your Tittle says replacing the axle seal yet you dont even show how to
remove it…and you just turn off your camera and turn it back on once you
have taken the seal off, whats the point your video is pointless….
everything you do show most people already know or u can read it in a honda
book. anyways you dont show the hardest part of the job (taking off the
seal)
