Tell ya what, someday you may come to regret placing tools atop the battery
when you’re not using them. A 3/8 drive ratchet can handle several thousand
amps.
My 1997honda civic ex is not starting… I have a crank no start… Coil is
good, fuel is good, battery good….. Started one day drove around for
about 2hrs, park…. N back to crank no start…. Please help!!!!
Well done and good filming. I probably would have disconnected the feed
line TO the pump just to confirm 100% that there was fuel delivery to the
pump and thus necessitating pump was indeed bad before changing it but the
evidence was certainly strong enough to just go with the pump diagnosis.
It’s been a long time since I worked on a carbureted engine with a
mechanical fuel pump. Nice diagnostics and repair Jahan.

Good job Jahan. A 1991 Engine still carberated. Didn’t know they were still
putting carberators on those models.

And the final things were to tighten the coolant pipe clamp and the air
inlet tube, plus a cup of coolant to put back the small amount lost :-))
That engine looked rather mucky, uncared for?
