Donald Clark says:

Potentially this could be a software bug related to date and time? Idk I'm spooked rn I just got done watching the conjuring

Jayssun says:

My brothers civic of that year did this when the battery needed to replace. My 2018 accord did this when my rear taillight stared collecting moisture/ water. Try to Check those!

Donald Clark says:

This honestly scares the hell out of me cause this happened to me for the first time 3 hours ago

Jesper says:

CODE: EMOTIONAL DAMAGE

Mike Bradshaw says:

Yeah but with a stroke a human brain can actually heal over time with proper nutrition, support and healthy lifestyle changes. This also depends upon other factors such as age and how damaging the event of a stroke was.

Dude Daddy says:

Hey, Scotty what's up with this Zengen Oil Testing kit?

Mitch says:

man oh man-how many different scanning tools that Scotty has-i'll bet my local mech. has zero..

Sabeel Rahman says:

This a fuel pump issue! It was part of a recall!

Real Estate InfoNet says:

Very enlightening video! Thank you very much! Sincere regards!

Randum dude says:

Salvage car

Lester Carter says:

Scotty, do you think that it is possible that the resistor at the end of the can bus system could be missing or damaged therefore throwing codes for all of the sensors and modules on that loop/branch? (Jerryrigeverything did a video on campus)

Napynap says:

Wait.. just like a cell phone that breaks for $800, but a car computer that breaks for $1000? Easy fix then!

Allan Huffman says:

Why do you have to mix politics with car repair. No more Scotty for me.

Topher D says:

Scotty … check the wiring integrity … make sure a rat didn’t get in there. Rats notoriously love Hondas.. a rat chewing some wires somewhere down the line could be an issue. You could also check the battery and battery terminals too. The first step on any troubleshooting book is to check the battery and battery terminals. Without a fully functioning and connected battery.. any diagnosis is foolhardy!

I agree that it’s likely the ECM however you always want to rule out Mickey Mouse/Battery issues on Hondas.

ltwargssf R says:

New cars all all heading this way. Just got a low mileage 2015 Yaris 5 speed manual and couldn't be happier of the simplicity. it will outlast any other modern car

Johnathan Saegal says:

The only problem I ever had with my '77 VW Rabbit was the air conditioning… a wire got unplugged. Why can't automakers go back to simplicity or if they must have some computer module in the vehicle, make it watertight for crying out loud.

josephgaviota says:

I wonder how much longer I can keep my 2006 Acura running. All this super-integrated stuff worries me—it doesn't seem reliable enough.

Mariana Levi says:

I had the same thing happen to my Honda, but the cause turned out to be that a rodent ate the wires :)))

RacingDreamz says:

My Honda CBR600rr has 50k miles on it & still going strong

Not A Commie says:

Wheel speed sensor? Exact same thing happened to my 2017 Accord. Thought I got hit by an EMP

My master mechanic found the bad wheel speed sensor with his deep dive with the computer

Kurt Bitner says:

I think Honda had bad suppliers for these years. I have a 2016 Odyssey and the keyless ignition control module went bad. The car would go haywire: the alarm went off at random hours, the lights would turn on and flicker like a Christmas tree. $600 for a new module at the Honda dealer.
