This is by far the most complete video I’ve seen online about changing the
brakes. Everything you said went right in line with what I just did to my
front brakes – thank you for such a great video! Adding this to my brake
changing notes!
i am not a mechanic at all, but do my own brakes. i never would use a flat
head screwdriver to depress the calipers. i been using a Brake Caliper

Did u have to leave the brake fluid cap off under the hood to take off the
breaks ?
I never turn rotors anymore. Takes too much time and new rotors aren’t that
expensive. I also find they warp out quicker after you cut them.
Once they are heat checked like that they don’t cut well. The rears were
original and too thin…
I guess that you ruled out getting the rotor turned?
Usually… Since the new front rotors have the screw holes I didn’t feel it
was worth the effort.
Good video.
Nice video. Do i have to pinch or bleed the brakes?
Yes you are right I should use them (I have four pairs). Thanks for the
watch and the comment!
