can you make a video on how to remove the rubber part that lays on the roof
through the exterior …
they are like rubber sills that are between the door and roof … i have
read that it has become difficult on newer cars..
i want to wrap my roof black but need to get under there .. i have tried
pulling and no luck .. thanks

How wide do you cut the strip of foam? and if I understand correctly the
foam lays on top of the gap?

Mike Smith says:

Based on my examination of the entire door seal contacting the door frame
and double sealing it this looks like the appropriate fix! AMAZING how
HONDA which KNOWS about this issue does not STEP up to fix it….Just the
WEBSITES dedicated to this issue would make me as a car manufacturer repair
it before the LAWSUITS r a class action suit come AGAIN!

Dave Thai says:

Man I’ve been subscribed for a while now and I feel like you take your car
apart too much and it makes it worse then when you first bought it. It was
fine the way it is except for your mods (they’re dope) man. No offense

Is this something i should let the dealer do or should i just do it myself
to save time.
The dealership i bought 13 accord from says they need to test drive report
to honda before they can replace it

I have a 2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring Edition. I purchased it in late
September 2014, I had my wind noise fixed at dealer free of charge today
10/21/14. The procedure in this video does not reflect what I understood
to be the repair.
My part numbers listed are 72470-T2G-A01, 72465-T2A-A01, 72235-T2F-A01,
72275-T2F-A01, & 72450-T2A-A01…. I took my car in and these parts where
replaced ( molding & sash) I picked my car up two weeks ago and the
problem was NOT fixed. I returned today10.21.14 after calling and speaking
to my Service Manager. I told him that his technician must be deaf if he
gave my car the thumbs up…. needless to say I returned today… and to
my understanding ( what they told me anyway) was that there was a foam
type material that is sticky on both sides ( which supposedly was in
original parts order) that was not used when my car was in the first time.
So this material was put around the entire area that surrounds the glass
part of the door, not the area on car demonstrated on this
video…. Service Manager said it sealed the ” weather stripping ( I say
this generically) he said it filled it in by about 1/8 of an inch thus
filling in the dead space that was making my car sound like the door was
ajar. Needless to say, mine is fixed and I could not be happier !

Teresa Christie says:

Oh and by the way…. my warranty work for this wind noise came to a grand
total of
$ 604.53 which was charged to Honda Mfg and applied to my factory
warranty.
