Had to re edit and re upload the video because one portion was in black and
white.

May be a good video but the fowl language killed it for me. People have
young children, “FOWL” language is never necessary and never ads value to
anything… Grow up.

Pete Belford says:

Would it make a difference if you use cheap tranny fluid for the flush? It
is being thrown away anyway.

Thanks for these DIY videos. They are awesome. I also have a 2008 Accord
V-6. I just watched the spark plug replacement video. I have a question
about ATF. Owner manual says to “replace” ATF every 30,000 miles. Do they
mean just drain 3 quarts and fill with 3 new quarts or perform a flush
every 30,000? Do you know what dealers do when you bring it for ATF service
every 30K? I just did a ATF flush yesterday (drain/fill 3 times). It has
102K. Some people say it’s better if you just drain/fill with 3 quarts
every 10K or so. What is your input? Thanks.

Hey man, your accord videos are awesome!! Helped me a lot as I continue
learning to work on my accord. Have you heard of the method where you
remove the return line and drain the fluid while simultaneously adding new
fluid with the car running? I feel like that would be the most efficient
way to change the fluid. Is that safe?

I want to say the 17mm socket fits directly on that plug without play. I
used to use the 11/16ths too but it is incorrect.

The DW1 fluid is reformulated (supposedly synthetic now) and provides for
better shifting compared to the old Z1 fluid. Sounds like it helped smooth
out the shifts on your car, and I noticed a similar result when I did this
to my mom’s Accord recently.

Dan Manista says:

Your video is very helpful as I work on my own 2008 Accord V6 trans fluid
so thanks. I probably missed something but if you start with 9 quarts of
new fluid and use 3 with each of the first two changes, how do you end up
with 3-1/2 quarts for the last and final change?
