I just got my kit in and had no idea what to do even after reading forums on 8thcivic.com, those kits were just not the same. there always seem to be something different but I had the same kit as you and followed your directions exactly! Successful about 1 hour ago

Do your hid work with the drl or just with high beam?

trial and error for me to hear. was very frusterating.

3581floyd1 says:

if you have a bad ground these things can happen. if you are saying you have a blown fuse i dont know what to tell you. im sorry you have problems im just trying to help people get it working the way i did. realize this post is a little late but let me know how you solved your problem

3581floyd1 says:

3581floyd1 says:

i havnt had a problem as far as blowing any fuses. you very well could be right and thats another way of doing it. thanks

3581floyd1 says:

yes im pretty sure. no pro but thats why theres a fuse attached.i thaught it would be more of a pain.

3581floyd1 says:

check your ground. check your fuses.

3581floyd1 says:

under the bumper? the sheild?

MrLokojorge says:

I did what you said and it worked fine until I turned on my headlights. I heard a click like a fuse going out and went to look and the headlights were on but the fogs were off. I turned the heads off and still no fogs on. The switch isn’t lit anymore so something must have blown. I checked the fuses on the add a circuit but they are not blown. How can I check the relay, or what else should I check?

Kevin Luna says:

Where can I find the plastic frame that comes with the bumper already?

B18C5NA says:

My fog light decided to not turn on no more 🙁 the fog light switch doesnt light up can it be a fuse ?

marley patawaran says:

can you just run your red wire directly to the battery instead of connecting it to the bottom right prong??????/
