so does your doors automatically open and close now my wife did something
to the doors one day and they will attempt to open for a split second then
they will stop do I really need to replace the actuator If I have a 3yr
warranty on my 2006 odyssey?

Thanks for the nice job on the video. I just did both sliding doors on my
2007 EX-L (2 hrs on the first one, 1/2 that on the other). One comment
regarding the instructions at 5:20 in the video…I found it unnecessary to
disconnect the wire connected to the pink clip (I’ve seen other
instructions indicate to remove both wires from their clips). They’re not
connected to the actuator, so the only thing I needed to remove was the
small spring that was connected to the actuator. Thanks again!
My door will not open at all, can I still get the door panel off?
was able to remove the door panel with the door closed, it wasn’t easy but
essential to getting door open. Once I disconnected the actuator (both
cable and electrical) the door would open and close from the inside only.
It gets caught up closing initially so i suspect the rollers are shot, on
second pull it opens properly. How do I know if the actuator is faulty as
well?
answer: don’t know but odd…if you manually open it with the outside
handle it should work as it doesn’t use this actuator. May be a track
thing, I saw some videos on those topics where they repair the track
rollers by first removing the painted cover panel from the side of the
van…good luck!
