Restoration of a Rusty 1948 GMC. Full Rebuild From Start to Finish

Restoration of a Rusty 1948 GMC. Full Rebuild From Start to Finish

Here is the final video in our 1948 GMC Truck restoration series. Stay tuned to the end for the grand reveal! This video is a summary of the entire rebuild process. We started with an extremely rusty and dented classic pickup. After an engine swap and extensive rust and dent repair, it’s finally looking like a truck again!

Shout out to @coldwarmotors for providing me with this fine specimen. Please check out Scott’s channel and the GMC recovery videos here:

This was the first time someone did restoration in a such an old car and by himself!

@DeWoodyard says:

I watched what all you did here, reflecting on a late 80's GMC Sierra stepside that my dad owned and kept WELL. Good on you for the work you put in.

Can't add much to what others have already said in praise. What persistence and resolve and above all faith in yourself.! I have always believed that in many cases, one who restores is better than one who creates. You give hope to others who are striving in life with their own unfinished projects and dreams. Dream on please, and let me find other videos made by you.
